Un/Hook

Original music together with Niccolò Polimeno, Andrea Jimmy
Catagnoli, Arturo Garra.
Un/Hook is lyrical montage of low-resolution images, selected from
the online archive of surveillance cameras around the world,
becomes the source from which a group of musicians improvises
their sessions. Thanks to the rhythm and musical timbre, the images
are transformed and unhooked from their surveillance function,
getting lost in a sinuous journey of abstract visions.
un/Hook is a Tafano, Start production.
The music was created improvising live at a second sight of the
short movie.
The original soundtrack was released in vinyl from Finisterrae
production.

The short movie is a screen adaptation of the theater-dance piece Un po’ di più.A PinDoc, Muxarte and Cittadella dei Giovani of Aosta production.Piazza Marina 51 was awarded at Stories We Dance – International Video Dance 2022 both with Best Film and Audience Award.
